Station Road Tree Guards

To improve the appearance of Station Road mountain ash (sorbus) trees were planted along the wide pavement of Station Road. Unfortunately the parking of cars damaged the growth of a numbers of trees.

In February 2009, Liphook in Bloom undertook the project of replacing the damaged trees and erecting tree guards around all of them. Now only the tree guards are knocked about by cars, the trees are thriving and in time will be a key feature of this part of the village.
