Sunflower Competition : Details

Categories

• Tallest Sunflower

• Sunflower with the Most Blooms

• Best Collection of Sunflowers in Pots or a Garden

Submitting Entries by 9^th August

To enter the competition, please send an up-to-date photo of your flower/display to liphookinbloom@gmail.com  

We need the following please,

• Your name and contact details together with the approximate height of the flower if you are entering the tallest flower. 

• Your name and contact details along with the approximate number of blooms for the Most Blooms category

• Your name and contact details with a photo of your collection of flowers.

Please remember that we use photos for publicity purposes in local media, social media and on our website so don’t send in anything you would not be happy for us to use.

Judging

We will produce a short list of entries for judging using the photos and information you supply. We will then contact you to arrange a time to visit if your blooms have made the shortlist. The judging will take place on the evening of August the 11^th. The judges will include the manager of Grayshott Pottery.  

Grayshott Pottery has very kindly sponsored the event again this year by providing the prizes – special mugs with sunflowers on, and there will be certificates for the runners up. Their website can be found here: Grayshott Pottery | Makers of English stoneware since 1956

Award Ceremony

Prize giving is on Saturday 15^th at  Kiki T’s coffee shop in The Square at 10am.Everyone is welcome to attend, and we would love to see you there.
