WORKING DAYS 2011 We are always looking for new helpers to join us. For 2011 we have changed our normal working day from Sunday to Saturday meeting in the Midhurst Road car park at 9.30am (this year's working dates are listed below). Occasionally we will work on Sundays too if it is a busy time of year. At LIB it's not all hard work. On working days we stop around 11am for a well-earned coffee and a Kit-Kat. It's always a nice time to catch up with the rest of the team and have a natter. It's a great way to meet local people and make new friends. We also get together socially every year for a summer barbecue and a Christmas dinner. We fund these events ourselves (none of the sponsorship money goes into our social events) but we keep prices low so that everyone can take part. Working Days are great fun and will help keep you fit. You'll also be doing a wonderful thing for the village and your community - helping keep Liphook looking lovely - Liphook in Bloom. If in doubt please phone Patrina 724813, Irene 723823 or Philip 724903 Weeding Wednesdays will start on April 6th. Please meet at Midhurst Rd. Carpark 9.30 as usual. Extra Helpers are always welcome. Please meet us in the Midhurst Road car park at 9.30am. We are finished by lunch time. If you want to meet us later, then look for our yellow Liphook in Bloom high visibility jackets. If you haven't got a jacket please let Jan know - if you have got a jacket, please wear it. Coffee & Kitkats are served outside the Anchor at 11am with time for a chat! Rainy Days - please check with Patrina, Irene or Philip as above if you are not sure if we are working New Members - team meetings are held on 1st Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm at the Millennium Hall (Village Room).
